Gary Johnson

Gary Johnson has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare information and technology, medical devices, revenue cycle and supply chain. Gary held senior leadership positions with MedAssets (Senior VP Marketing, Product Strategy 2002-2010), Vendormate (CMO), Kimberly-Clark Healthcare Division (General Manager, Global Trade Marketing), and leadership roles with other organizations in product marketing, corporate marketing, new product development, covering revenue cycle, EHR, patient engagement, benefits management, business intelligence. Gary’s career began in consumer-packaged-goods brand and product management with Kimberly-Clark, then progressed through roles growing its B2B business units. Gary has focused on healthcare growth companies in the last 15 years, driving rapid innovation and revenue growth, leading positioning and brand image, go-to-market strategies, and has helped achieve a successful IPO (MedAssets Nasdaq MDAS), and a strategic exit sale (Vendormate acquired by GHX).

Gary received a bachelor’s of business administration (honors) in marketing, from Brock University in Canada, with additional executive development programs completed at Kellogg and Thunderbird.
